Lanseria – Budget - Bachelors Accommodation
The Venue is about 20 minutes from Fourways, close to Lanseria Airport ,the property is safe and enclosed with walls, very private and secluded.

With all booking we charge a refundable breakage deposit of R2000.00
17 – 24 people X 325 pp per night self catering + R300 per night exclusive use of Hlala Lapha
25 – 30 people X 285 pp per night self catering + R300 per night exclusive use of Hlala Lapha
Day visitors are charged at a rate of R150 per person i.e. guests that do not sleep but use the facilities and then depart
Please note that there is a minimum charge of R5500 per night if the numbers fall too low
Damages in any form will be charged for
Either self catering or:
Dinner: Boerewors, beer chickens, potato bake, Greek salad & garlic bread with biltong, dry wors & chips for snacks during a rugby game at R165 per head
Breakfast: English breakfast at an extra charge of R60 per person or a bacon and egg roll for R40 per person if you are feeling lazy. Filter coffee and fresh orange juice goes with this.

Accommodation:
All rooms equipped with bedding.
Up to 30 people can be accommodated.
- Hlala Lapha is built into trees and surrounded by two pools, a lovely view and rolling lawns and gardens. We have 10 ewes and their lambs grazing on the lawns.
- You will have exclusive use of Hlala Lapha and two toilets at the back of the lapa. It is a perfect, cosy, gathering place. You can zip it up if the weather turns unfriendly – see website pictures. The lapa has 2 big webers and other braai equipment along with all braai utensils. There is a big under counter fridge.
- We provide braziers and chopped wood on the outside for guys to stand or sit around during the evenings
- We provide paper plates and plastic drinks glasses, dustbins etc
- We clean up on the following morning so that it is ready for you to make breakfasts if you wish. There is also good gas braai equipment in the lapa, which is ideal for making breakfasts.
- There is a 50" screen with all DSTV channels for your use to watch the channels you want to
General Info - Accommodation
We have a variety of accommodation available. If there are more than 20 people, we place a pile of mattresses and bedding in one of the larger unit lounges to make up the numbers. Guys can sleep dormitory style. If, due to numbers we use the Hoopoe and Kingfisher rooms, the spa is available to those people.
General
We have a championship sized snooker table for use by adults. There is also a darts board in the snooker room.
What you need to bring :
You will need to bring your own drink, food and charcoal requirements if you are self catering. If you need large quantities of ice, you should bring your own ice. We provide a small amount of ice in an ice bucket in the bar. You can just ask us for more ice when that is finished as we always keep blocks of ice in the freezer.
Damages and responsible person
We would prefer NO damages especially as we have only recently completed the lapa and it is always such a sweat to fix things, however, if there are any damages, these should be paid for prior to departure. We will also charge for our time to fix and travel to sort out repairs so better to avoid damages! We do not raise a deposit for damages but the person making the booking must accept responsibility prior to booking for payment of any damages to property.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – bachelor party attendees
99% of bachelor parties are great with no problems, HOWEVER, there is the 1% that spoil it for everyone else! A recent bachelor party has forced us to review our policy. We had the most unbelievable amount of not only vomiting on the beds, mattresses and carpets but worse was that we also had a lot of urination in the accommodation saturating the fitted carpets and even the dog beds. The urination in the rooms was so bad and the smell so incredible that it took us a huge amount of actually soaking the fitted carpets in water and soaking the water up with towels until we had cleaned everything out. We then had to put in heaters to dry the carpets and steam clean them. We could not have guests to stay until we were happy that they were 100% clean again and the smell gone totally.
Due to this, we have decided to raise a charge for vomiting in the accommodation as it is not pleasant for the staff to clean it up and it also damages the mattresses and nor can we tolerate urination in the accommodation. Hopefully the charge will prevent this from happening?!?!
Charges for vomiting in the accommodation will be R100 per vomit and R1000 for urinating, anywhere but the toilets in the accommodation.
Damages to other property like bar chairs will be charged for along with a cost for our time and inconvenience.
- NO PROMO GIRLS hanging around the lapa – I will regard them as extra guys using our facilities and charge them
- Strippers are fine – as long as they are escorted on and off the property and do not hang around
As we have recently spent time and effort improving our facilities we would really rather avoid all of the above! You usually know the group of guys and how they respond to drink so either you warn them or you have nothing to worry about! So bachelors can be men behaving badly, make as much noise as you can, drink, make a mess and enjoy your time together but please try not to damage anything!
